ITINERARY:
• 16:00 Group meeting point in Kyzylorda: Sultan Plaza Hotel. Please contact the touroperator regarding the possibility of airport transfer to the meeting point.
• After meeting the group, we depart for ZHEBE HOTEL, located approximately 100 km from Baikonur. This newly built modern hotel offers comfortable accommodation before the main events of the tour. The transfer takes approximately 4 hours (around 400 km).
Upon arrival:
• hotel check-in;
• dinner;
• overnight stay.
Additional option: Guests may arrive independently by train to Kazaly railway station, where an individual transfer will be arranged.
• After breakfast, we depart for Baikonur city.
• 10:00 Entrance to the city through Checkpoint No.1. We begin our introduction to Baikonur with a city tour: drive through the historic streets of Baikonur; photo stops at famous monuments and memorials; visit to Cosmopark, a place dedicated to the history of space exploration.
• You will see the route taken by cosmonauts before launch and experience the special atmosphere of the city on this important day.
• Lunch will be served before continuing to the cosmodrome.
• Baikonur Cosmodrome Visit: After security procedures, we enter the territory of the legendary cosmodrome.
The program includes visits to iconic facilities:
• Launch Pad No.1 — “Gagarin’s Start”. The most famous launch complex in the world. It was from this historic site that, 65 years ago, humanity began its journey into space with the first human spaceflight.
• Underground Mission Control Center 1003. A historic facility that played an important role in controlling numerous space missions.
• After the visit, we proceed to the “Yurta” observation area, offering a perfect view of the launch.
• Soyuz MS-29 Launch – 19:47 local time (17:47 Moscow time)
The main event of the journey:
Witness the launch of the Soyuz 2.1a rocket carrying the Soyuz MS-29 crewed spacecraft. Experience the unforgettable moment when the powerful rocket leaves the launch pad and begins its journey towards the stars. A spectacular event that can only truly be appreciated when seen with your own eyes.
After the launch:
• return to the hotel;
• dinner included;
• overnight stay.
• After breakfast, check-out from the hotel.
• Return to Baikonur city.
• 10:00 Entrance through Checkpoint No.1. Today’s program continues with the historical landmarks of Baikonur.
• “Zero Quarter” and Gagarin’s Gazebo. A symbolic place in the history of space exploration. It was here that the final decision regarding the first cosmonaut was announced, marking the
beginning of a new era in human history.
• Through Checkpoint No.7, we continue to the territory of Baikonur Cosmodrome.
• Launch Complex No.112. Visit to the Assembly and Test Building (MZK), where visitors can see real spacecraft — the legendary Soviet space shuttle projects: Buran’s prototype “Buran” and “Buran-class” vehicles. These projects represent remarkable achievements of aerospace engineering.
• The final highlight of the program is a visit to the Dynamic Test Stand, featuring a full-scale model of the Energia launch vehicle — one of the most powerful rockets ever created. The impressive scale of this engineering masterpiece demonstrates the ambition and achievements of the space era.
• Baikonur History Museum (GDK). The museum features unique exhibits related to the development of the cosmodrome, including
personal gifts presented by cosmonauts to the city.
• 14:00 Lunch
• After lunch, departure from Baikonur Cosmodrome through Checkpoint No.7.
• Transfer to Kyzylorda. End of the group program.
